Morgan's Baptism

I have heard that baptisms are one of those amazing instances where the spirit is felt the strongest.  The morning of Morgan's big day was a bit rushed, and my mind was overflowing with bits and pieces of what needed to be done and not forgotton.  There was little room for calm reflection. Family and friends came to support little Morgan.  One of my favorite songs, John the Baptist began to be played on the piano.  That is when Morgan came out of the changing room, following his dad, dressed all in white.  It was that instant that the peaceful spirit touched my heart.  It was a combination of love for little Morgan, happiness for his decision, and reflection of all he has gone through and all he will go through.  He occupies such a big room in my heart, that every decision he makes affects me in some way. Morgan I am so proud of you:).
Those who had a part in the program did an excellent job. Cousin Lincoln had a great object lesson on feeling the spirit within you, the more you feel it, the more you recognize it as the spirit. Carson gave a sweet little prayer and Abbie played the harp. My dad gave a wonderful talk on the holy ghost and the importance to stay worthy to have it with you. Jim and Julie both did a good job on the prayer and piano, respectively.
Afterwards, everyone came over with bountiful snacks and smiles. It was a great day.  We gave Morgan his own set of scriptures and gramma Ruth gave him a baptism book and a bank to save his money in.  Abbie also gave him a journal and jim and julie gave him a ctr ring and a fun box of fun sayings and items.  I guess he's set for life now.  I kinda feel like it's going to be hard to watch him make decisions on his own, some good some not so good. But I trust he will do fine!!!! right?
