Family home Evening. Is it just me or does this phrase make one cringe a little?  Everyone makes it sound like it's supposed to be this warm loving environment where one child leads the music and the others sing in perfect harmony.  Well we've got the love, and a whole lot more chaos.  I know it's good for the kids so lately we have been reading some stories out of the friend magazine, or doing fun activities that we can relate some gospel topics too.  Like hiking, or like the other day, making pretzels. Morgan had this great idea to make a recipe out of his kids cookbook, so we did.  The pretzel making part was fun and we talked about the creation of the earth while making snakes and alligators with our dough.  However, the recipe wasn't my favorite and they tasted horrible!
 I guess the moral there was sometimes things in life don't turn out, even though you tried to do everything right.
