Ski day before thanksgiving

Such a fun time with mom and Louis! We met up for breakfast at the cliff lodge and spent the day skiing in sunny weather. Although I felt so bad for my mom, she is a great skier but her skis were too short and she was not used to it and took a few spills. With my broken toe, we were all ready to call it quits after lunch! Louis was so nice to share his extra passes and it's been fun getting to know him!
The kids were home with a baby sitter for the morning and at the ridds for the afternoon. Morgan made a bunch of miniature food out of clay and is really good at it! He then was sweet enough to have a Barbie party with malia and use all the fun stuff he made. I love when they play together so well.

Halloween back to the future

Had to document today's date. The boys were so excited about this

McKinley turns 1!

We had a fun time celebrating her little birthday. Mom and Louis came, sara, Linz and Wes's family.
She started crying when we sang to her, haha but loved breaking into the chocolate cake. We got her a little trampoline and she loves to sit and bounce on it.
She can say a few words, mum, dada
Mo, moon, ball. She was climbing up the stairs before she could walk and gramma Ruth quickly taught her how to climb back down! She can also walk across the room and can pick up pretty heavy things!
She is such a joy in our home and is such a good calm baby. We just can't get enough of her!
On Tuesday we went to lunch to celebrate her real birthday just for fun!

Pope cabin sling shot first 2015

We had such a great time meeting Louis' family on Halloween weekend. They are kind and a lot of fun! I liked how Louis mentioned how grateful that everyone was here and that we are increasing our circle of love.
The human sling shot was also way fun too! I'm surprised Carson and Morgan did this but we all did and it was awesome. They also couldn't get over the indoor slide from the kids bedroom. We celebrated thanksgiving dinner and he had a couple of cooks do all the work and it was delish!
I'm glad to have done it early this year because I feel like I could get a jump start on Christmas and I already have my shopping done so I can focus on the more important things about Christmas!
Well we were just in awe at his property. Then he went and shot a bowling ball out of a cannon into the mountain. It was so crazy! He makes me laugh. Wes and I hiked up but couldn't find any of the bowling balls. It was such a new adventure and a great weekend.
