Some skiing fun

I have always wanted to teach my own kids how to ski, but its definitely harder when they are your own! Malia keeps up quite well for a 3 year old. I use my super short skis and no poles, but it still seemed easier to teach 15 years ago... Even with classes of 10 kids!
But I love to go, at least to get the kids some fresh air, family time, exercise, sunshine and hot chocolate. The basics of happiness.

New Years

We pretty much celebrated at 9pm.
We did papa Murphy's kids "make your own pizzas." They loved it. I still find confetti in my house.

We all pitched in for a money tree for Linz since she just graduated from dental school! It was great to see everyone:)

Fun snow days.

I love snow storms.
I love snowshoeing and skiing and all that loveliness that goes with it. I'm sure it stems from playing in it as a child, hiking through it with my dad, and forging sled hills with my friends. I bought a cute pair of sorel boots in memory of the ones I had growing up...so glad for those!
