Moab with moms friends

We were invited Thursday afternoon to spend the weekend in Moab with my mom and her friends. We arrived at 11pm. That's how long it took to get everything packed!   It was a nice drive as all the kids fell asleep.   The next morning we had grandma Ruth's yummy pancakes, bacon and eggs. The best breakfast in the best of places!
Louis offered to take all the kids so we could do a bike ride together but we turned it down to spend time and get to know them.  We drove through arches and stopped at places we've never seen before up close.  Malia immediately took to Louis and didn't leave his side. Pam and Ted mentioned how good the kids were, which is always a win.  We went to musselman arch and Louis walked right into the arch and set it down to eat. He is really ambitious and keeps us laughing and on our toes! The kids followed right behind and we got a good family picture.
We visited some other sites and went home. I figured out how to cook popcorn on the stove with pams help.. Another win. The kids played hide and seek and we all go to bed early!
Hiding seek is no contest when you're a contortionist.

School again 2015-2016

Not sure how I could send all my kids away if not for the great teachers at their school. They are all very excited with getting the teachers they wanted. I am, although looking forward to a little quiet time with the babe:) and catching up on to do lists. Love these babes of mine.

Morgan 11

Morgan wanted to spend time with his friends in Lehi and do a bike ride for his birthday. He is still a very sensitive and compassionate person. He helps his family and loves his baby sis. He is doing well on the guitar and his teacher has said he could pay his way through college with it. I enjoy listening to him play.  He loves to build, draw and do magic. He is good at science and figuring thing out. He also has a strong testimony and a good sense of right and wrong with a desire to choose the right.
He loves to help people and is very similar to his dad that way.
He had earned his arrow of light as well. We love you Morgan!!!!
